March Fishing Blog

Fishing throughout the month of March has been very fun. The sailfish have moved into the area in strong numbers. We have been seeing multiple fish each day, catching releasing an average of 3-6 fish per charter. The method we have been using to target these fish is presenting live goggle eyes under kites from 100-200 feet of water from the Jupiter to South Palm Beach areas. Watching these fish school up under the kites is a lot of fun and hooking two or fish at once is very common.

There have also been a good number of larger kingfish and mahi showing up as well making the mixed bag of fishing a lot of fun for customers. We have also seen a lot of white and blue marlin being caught each day while sail fishing which is a once in a lifetime fish for many folks, especially on such light tackle.

We have been using 20# test bullbuster mono for about a year now with tremendous success. We use strictly bullbuster products now for all braid, mono and fluorocarbon. Be sure to check them out at and use our promo code “anglermgt” for a discount on the already low prices.
